Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts must be written in English and may include research findings, fieldwork, literary studies, or articles addressing social science phenomena on INDONESIA.
  2. Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word on A4-sized paper, with a length of approximately 6,500–7,000 words (excluding references), formatted in Palatino Linotype, 11-point font, with 1.5 line spacing.
  3. The structure of research articles should include the following sections:
  • Title: The title should be clear, concise, and informative, not exceeding 14 words. Abbreviations should be avoided.
  • Author Name: The author's name should be written without academic degrees and followed by the institutional affiliation, both placed under the article title. For multi-author manuscripts, only the main or first-listed author will be contacted by the editor. The corresponding author must provide a correspondence address or email.
  • Abstract and Keywords: The abstract should be 200–250 words in length and accompanied by 3–5 keywords. The abstract must include the research aim, methods, and main results.
  • Introduction: The introduction should provide the general background and clearly state the research question or hypothesis. If included, the literature review may form part of this section. The study objective should be stated at the end of the introduction.
  • Methods: This section should describe the methods and analytical approaches used to address the research problem. Sufficient detail must be provided to allow readers to assess the appropriateness, reliability, and validity of the methods and findings.
  • Results and Discussion: Present research findings in detail, supplemented with adequate supporting data. The discussion should interpret the findings and relate them to the research question outlined in the introduction, providing explanations and insights.
  • Conclusion: This section should summarise the main findings and offer recommendations or suggestions for future research. The summary must address the research objectives or hypotheses without repeating the results and discussion verbatim. Recommendations should outline potential future directions based on the research.
  • References: All references cited in the manuscript must be included in the bibliography. At least 80% of the references should be from scientific journals published within the last 10 years, while the remaining 20% may include research articles, theses, books, or other relevant publications. References must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style and be arranged alphabetically.
  1. All tables and figures must include a clear title, be sequentially numbered and sourced, and be formatted with single line spacing.
  2. Ensure that all references cited in the text are included in the reference list. Any works listed in the references but not cited in the text will be removed by the editor.
  3. All manuscripts will be reviewed anonymously by experts appointed by the editor. Authors will be allowed to revise their manuscripts based on feedback from reviewers or the editor.
  4. The decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the manuscript will be communicated to the corresponding author via email.
  5. The editor reserves the right to edit and correct the spelling, wording, and grammar of the accepted manuscript.
  6. The author bears full responsibility for obtaining all necessary permissions related to citations, use of computer software, or other copyright matters, including any resulting legal consequences.
