DECLARATION OF GENERATIF AI
Authors must disclose any use of generative AI during the manuscript writing process when submitting a paper. The following guidelines pertain exclusively to the writing process and do not address the use of AI tools for data analysis or research insights:
- Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies may be employed solely to enhance the readability and language of the manuscript.
- These tools must be used under direct human supervision, with authors carefully reviewing and editing all outputs. As AI-generated content may appear authoritative yet can be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased, authors retain full responsibility and accountability for the final manuscript.
- Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies cannot be listed or cited as authors or co-authors, as authorship entails responsibilities only humans can assume.
Disclosure Requirements:
Authors must declare the use of generative AI or AI-assisted technologies in the writing process by including a statement at the end of the manuscript upon initial submission. To be included in the published version, this statement should appear in a new section preceding the references. The required format is as follows:
- Section Title: Declaration of Generative AI and AI-Assisted Technologies in the Writing Process.
- Sample Statement: During the preparation of this work, the author(s) used [NAME OF TOOL/SERVICE] for [PURPOSE]. Following this tool/service, the author(s) thoroughly reviewed and edited the content as needed, and accept full responsibility for the final content of the published article.
This declaration is not required to use basic tools such as grammar or spell checkers and reference management software. No statement is necessary if no generative AI or AI-assisted technologies were used.
Note:
To safeguard authors' confidentiality and intellectual property rights, this journal currently prohibits reviewers' or editors' use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT) during the peer review and manuscript evaluation process. The journal is exploring compliant AI tools and may update this policy.
